All issue prices for collectors coins are updated in Polish version of plan. Here, the latest update from July 4 2008.

NBP made new changes to its issue plan for 2008 and it affected issue plan for 2009 ,also.

Narodowy Bank Polski informuje, że Zarząd NBP podjął decyzję o następujących zmianach w planie emisji monet kolekcjonerskich oraz monet 2 zł Nordic Gold na 2008 rok:

Monety z tematów "Historia Jazdy Polskiej - Husarz XVI-XVII w." oraz "180 lat bankowości centralnej w Polsce" zostaną wyemitowane w 2009 roku.

Zmianie ulegają też planowane wielkości emisji następujących tematów:

"Polscy Podróżnicy i Badacze - Bronisław Piłsudski (1866-1918)"

nominał 10 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 58,0 tys. szt. zwiększono do 99,0 tys. szt.,



"90. rocznica odzyskania niepodległości"

nominał 200 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 8,8 tys. szt. zwiększono do 10 tys. szt.,
nominał 20 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 68,0 tys. szt. zwiększono do 110,0 tys. szt.,



"450 lat Poczty Polskiej"

nominał 200 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 8,4 tys. szt. zwiększono do 11,0 tys. szt.,
nominał 10 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 65,0 tys. zł zwiększono do 135,0 tys. szt.,
nominał 2 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 1.300,0 tys. zł zwiększono do 1.400,0 tys. szt.,



"90. rocznica Powstania Wielkopolskiego"

nominał 10 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 61,0 tys. szt. zwiększono do 90,0 tys. szt.,



"400. rocznica polskiego osadnictwa w Ameryce Północnej"

nominał 100 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 8,8 tys. szt. zwiększono do 9,5 tys. szt.,
nominał 10 zł - uprzednio planowaną wielkość emisji 67,0 tys. szt. zwiększono do 126,0 tys. szt.

What it means?

Two subcjects were moved to be issued in 2009:
- Polish winged cavalryman - XVI-XVII
- 180 Years of Central Banking in Poland.

There are new mintage numbers for remaining coins in 2008 issue plan.

Yes , you are right.The mintage numbers before rising them up were high enough but OK, now they are up to the celling.
About NBP politic, this is my opinion.
There was unstable situation on the market so people started withdrawl money from it and locate them in coins, new coins, special silver ones, last year. There were crowds of people , long lines before every NBP office in Poland so people could buy coins and sell them on Allegro with high profit. The pick of it was with the issue of Falcon in January of this year. The new issues become investments!!!!
To stop this situation NBP started rise mintages for every issue , every coin.
Is it working?
NBP stop long lines before offices, the prices for present issues on Allegro are around issue price or lower ( People to get easy money were buying abonaments in big quantities in 2007 for issues for 2008, now they are selling them to get just equal return).
The high mintage figures are not good for collectors but stoped the investment/speculation feaver. The bank doesn't care. :no:
Polish collector coins have bullion coins mintages. :-(

So for the future, be carefull looking for polish collectors coins issue plan. It may be change many times. Nothing is sure with them, no more.

Narodowy Bank Polski informuje, że Zarząd NBP wprowadził zmiany w "Planie emisji monet kolekcjonerskich i 2 zł Nordic Gold na 2008 rok" polegające na:

1. rezygnacji z emisji złotej monety kolekcjonerskiej dla tematu "90. rocznica odzyskania niepodległości", o wartości nominalnej 25 zł, masie 1 grama, średnicy 12 mm, próbie 900, wielkości emisji 8 800 sztuk,
2. wprowadzeniu nowej złotej monety kolekcjonerskiej dla tematu "90 rocznica odzyskania niepodległości", o wartości nominalnej 50 zł, masie 3,10 grama, średnicy 18 mm, próbie 999,9, wielkości emisji 8 800 sztuk."

The coin of face value 20 zloty is cancelled instead new coin of face value 50 zloty will be issued. Subcject is not changed, it is 90th Anniversary of Reganing Independence by Poland.

I wouldn't be surprised by changing mintage quantity before issue date.
