Series: "Russia in the UNESCO World Culture and Nature Heritage" (Volcanoes of Kamchatka)

The silver coin of 3 Rubles denomination (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1000, catalogue number 5111-0173, diameter 39.0 mm, mintage 10 000 pcs.)

The reverse:
- of the 3 Rubles silver coin: relief image of a volcano and, against its background, vegetation. The inscription at the top along the rim - "ВУЛКАНЫ КАМЧАТКИ" (VOLCANOES OF KAMCHATKA);


The obverse of the coins: relief picture of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia - the two-headed eagle with wings down and the semicircular inscription under it "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA). The inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coins "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES) or "СТО РУБЛЕЙ" (ONE HUNDRED RUBLES), or "ОДНА ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЕЙ" (ONE THOUSAND RUBLES) accordingly and the year of issue "2008", between them - the indication of the metal sign in accordance with the Mendeleyev Periodic System of chemical elements, the fineness, the mint mark of the Moscow Mint and the fine metal content.
