The release of this set coincides with the International Year of Planet Earth. Interestingly, the set features both the commemorative 20c and $1 coins in fine silver.

The commemorative 20 cent piece was originally included in the annual uncirculated set and shows images of tsunami, flooding, plate movements and salinity reminding us of man's impact on the world. From the standard proof set, the commemorative $1 coin depicts images of climate change on all forms of life, and the change human kind affects on the earth.

Each set is housed in a Jarrah wooden case and also comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
