2 Euro "Estlands Nationalvogel - Rauchschwalbe" 2023

Eesti Pank has announced competitions to design a silver collector coin dedicated to the Estonian farming couple and a two-euro commemorative coin for the Estonian national bird, the barn swallow. Designs can be submitted for the competition until 12.00 noon on 23 March. The coins will be issued in 2023.

The Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank approved the design by Kaupo Kangro, which was chosen as the winning design by the panel invited by the central bank for the design competition for the two-euro coin dedicated to the national bird, the swallow. Second place in the competition went to a design by Riho Luuse, and third place went to Maria Meose. In total 22 designs were submitted for the competition for the commemorative coin.

Eine Schwalbe macht noch keinen Sommer, obwohl in der Tagesschau schon bei 19 Grad die Karte rot ist. :shock:

Im Mai ist ja noch Frühling - und da ist dann die Wetterkarte entsprechend. 19 Grad C im Frühling ist rot.

Aber wenn die Rauch-Zeichen-Schwalben fliegen....
ist es Sommer.

Und da sind 19 Grad C eher kühl.
