On December 29, 2010 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues a coin of base metals in denomination of 10 Rubles “The Official Emblem of the Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”.

The coin is 22.0 mm in diameter, yellow in color and has the rim, raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated, with each section containing different number of corrugations.

The obverse: In the upper part of the coin - the inscription along the rim: “БАНК РОССИИ” (BANK OF RUSSIA), in the lower part - the year of issue “2010”. On the left and on the right sides of the coin – the stylized images of the bay tree and oak twigs respectively. In the center of the disc - the indication of the face value of the coin “10 РУБЛЕЙ” (10 RUBLES) in two lines. Inside the figure “0” – a protective element in the form of the figure “10” and the inscription “РУБ” (RUB) - visible by turns when changing the angle of vision. In the lower part of the disc - the mint trademark.

The reverse side of the coin depicts the relief image of the emblem of the Celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.

The mintage is 10 000 000 pcs.

The coins are legal tender of the Russian Federation. They are obligatory for acceptance for all kinds of payments without any restrictions at their face value.
