Regarding the Greek Presidency of the European Union Council, the Ministry of Finance - General Accounting Office (G.A.O.) is pleased to announce that the Numismatic Programme of 2014 includes the issuance of Silver Collectors’ Coin with 10€ face value.

Following the Press Release (dated 10.02.2014) of the Alternate Minister of Finance regarding the Hellenic Numismatic Program 2014, the General Accounting Office is pleased to announce that authorises the Bank of Greece to dispense to the public the €10 Collector Silver Coin, dedicated to the “Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2014”.
· The date of release is the 31st of March 2014.
The selling price is 52.85€ per coin (plus V.A.T.).
The maximum mintage is 5.000 coins.

The dispensation of the above mentioned coin will proceed in two phases, under the following terms and conditions:
Phase Α’: Dispensation period starting from 31.03.2014 until 11.04.2014

• Individuals /Collectors: a) For purchase up to two (2) pieces per person, the applicants should be addressed only to the Bank of Greece. (Tel: +30 210 320 2761 - 2762, fax: +30 210 325 5414, emailsec.tellers@bankofgreece.gr). b) For purchase of more than two (2) pieces per person, see the procedure concerning Phase B’ below.
• Merchants/Traders: For purchase of three (3) pieces and above, the applicants should apply to our Directorate, sending their applications only via Fax (+30 210 333 8959) or by e-mail d25@glk.gr from 18/03/2014 until 21/03/2014. Applications received before or after this time period will not be accepted. The applicants should also send (as attachment to their application) any legal proof of their commercial identity.

Phase Β’: Dispensation period from 14/04/2014 until out of stock.
