Welcome to the World Lithuanian Song Festival 2018

In 2018 one of the biggest events of the commemoration of the Centenary of the Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence will take place in Vingis park – the Centenary Song Festival, therefore, in the upcoming two years the park’s stage will be reconstructed and the grass cover of the central square will be renewed.

This year and the next year the major part of the park’s infrastructure such as benches, waste bins, and path indicators will also be renovated, and information stands as well as more water fountains will be built, and the park surrounding will have modern illumination. Even more innovations are planned in the park – beach and picnic zones, outdoor kindergarten, boat rental and many more.

The Song Festival is a unique example to the whole world of how dances and songs unite the nation scattered all over the world; it is also a tool encouraging cultural tourism which represents the traditional and living contemporary culture, it inspires guests from abroad to share information and knowledge on Lithuania. The Song Festival 2018 dedicated to the commemoration of the Centenary of the Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence, where the National anthem will be sung proudly and sensitively, will welcome guests from 30 June to 6 July in Vilnius and Kaunas.

Na ganz so schlimm ist das ja nicht. Denn solange die in der Bucht nicht ausverkauft sind gibt es genug davon. 500.000 Stück ist eine ziemlich große Menge. Mit anderen Worten: Die werden auch 2019 noch in großen Mengen angeboten werden.
